Kevin Blair DDS
Family, Restorative and Cosmetic Dentistry
Dr. Kevin Blair was raised in Pennsylvania and Massachusetts. He received a Bachelor of Arts degree from Merrimack College, North Andover, MA in 1977, and a Doctor of Dental Surgery degree with honors from Georgetown University, Washington D.C in 1981 being inducted into Omicron Kappa Upsilon (OKU-the national dental honor society). Upon graduation from dental school, Captain Blair entered the US Air Force as a dental officer where he served until his retirement in 2005. Colonel Blair served in various capacities culminating as the United States Air Forces in Europe (USAFE) Command Dental Surgeon and Senior Department of Defense Dental Officer in Europe providing dental oversight for all branches of the service. Dr. Blair served with distinction beginning recognized as the Dental Officer of the Year in 1989 and was ultimately awarded the Legion of Merit Medal, unusual for a dental officer, for service rendered in a clearly exceptional manner.
Dr. Blair completed a one-year and a separate two-year military residency in general dentistry becoming board certified by both the American Board of General Dentistry and the Federal Services Board of General Dentistry. He has completed original dental research and has been published in the International Journal of Prosthodontics. Dr Blair has presented numerous continuing education programs and addressed the San Antonio, TX, Dental Society speaking on tooth bleaching techniques and rationale. Dr. Blair achieved “Master” status by the Academy of General Dentistry in 2004, an achievement earned by less than 1% of nationwide general dentists.
Upon retirement from the US Air Force in 2005, Dr Blair returned to Snellville, GA, to be reunited with his wife Julie’s family. He joined the Nanston Dental Group. The Nanston Dental Group was purchased by a nationwide provider of dental services in 2010. Dr. Blair joined Princeton Dental Group with a desire to serve his patients in a smaller, more personal environment. He will use his experience, knowledge and expertise to help see that Princeton is the best option for dental patients, employees and professionals in the Atlanta area. He is an avid tennis player and is active in his church. Dr. Blair is married to the former Julie Elizabeth Bartlett. They are the parents of a son, Adam, a graduate of Auburn University working in the financial industry, and a daughter, Elizabeth, working at Dunwoody Elementry School in Speech and Communication Disorders.
Ryan Price, DMD
Family, Restorative and Cosmetic Dentistry
Originally from Augusta, GA, Dr. Price attended Augusta Christian Schools where he graduated valedictorian. After high school, Dr. Price went to Augusta State University where he earned a degree in Biochemistry with honors. Upon graduation, Dr. Price attended the Medical College of Georgia where he received his dental degree.
Dr. Price remains dedicated to continuing education to make sure he provides the highest quality of care to all his patients. He also is a member of the American Dental Association and Georgia Dental Association.
Dr. Price now resides in Atlanta where he enjoys spending time with his friends, going to concerts and attending Braves baseball games.
Rene Thornton-Leonard, DDS
Dr. Rene’ Thornton-Leonard grew up in a military family who lived in and traveled to several states and countries.
She graduated with honors in 1993 from Howard University in Washington, D.C., with a Bachelor of Science degree in Zoology. While there, she earned several distinctions including being recognized as an All-American Scholar Collegiate. Dr. Thornton-Leonard continued at Howard University and received a Doctor of Dental Surgery and her postgraduate training in orthodontics. She was awarded Who’s Who Among Students in American Universities & Colleges, an award for academic excellence, patient sensitivity and outstanding achievement, as well as The American Association of Orthodontists Award.
Dr. Thornton-Leonard practiced orthodontics for several years in Ohio before moving her practice to Atlanta in 2002. Dr. Thornton-Leonard is an active member of the American Association of Orthodontists, Southern Association of Orthodontists and Georgia Association of Orthodontists. She is Board Eligible with the American Board of Orthodontics and is also an Invisalign certified provider. Dr. Thornton-Leonard is committed to providing superior orthodontic results in a friendly, patient-centered environment. She enjoys getting to know each of her patients, seeing their smiles and confidences improve as treatment progresses.
While away from the office, Dr. Thornton- Leonard enjoys spending time with her family
and giving back to her community.
Dr. Shannon Parris
Dr. Shannon M. Parris, a Board Certified Pediatric Dentist, hails from Brooklyn, New York.
Practicing for over 20 years, Dr. Parris graduated from Meharry Medical College, School of Dentistry and was a resident at Interfaith Medical Center where she completed a General Practice Residency and her Residency in Pediatric Dentistry.
As an active member of many dental organizations including the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry, the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry and the American Dental Association coupled with being on many integral committees within the world of Pediatric Dentistry, Dr. Parris is able to stay abreast of the latest trends in Pediatric dentistry.
A few of Dr. Parris’ interests are exercise, reading, travel and crafts.
Dr. Yadira Cordona-Rohena, DMD
Dr. Cardona-Rohena received her D.M.D. with Honors from the University of Puerto Rico, School of Dentistry in 2002. She then moved to New York to complete a year of General Practice Residency in Hospital Dentistry at Montefiore Medical Center/Albert Einstein College of Medicine. After a year in NY, she spent another 4 years at the same Institution finishing her Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery Residency.
She received extensive training in advanced oral surgical procedures (impacted wisdom teeth, dental implants, and bone grafting), facial trauma and reconstructive surgery (complex facial fractures and lacerations), Orthognathic surgery (corrective jaw surgery), maxillofacial tumors and reconstructive surgery, and general anesthesia. Dr. Cardona-Rohena is a Diplomate of the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery and a Diplomate of the National Dental Board of Anesthesiology and American Dental Society of Anesthesiology. She has hospital privileges with Northside Hospital, Gwinnett Medical Center, CHOA and Atlanta VA Medical Center. She is also an Adjunct assistant professor of Surgery at Emory University School of Medicine. She is native from Carolina, Puerto Rico which makes her fully fluent in Spanish and English. Dr. Cardona has been practicing in the Atlanta area since 2007. Her main interest is the full scope Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery. She enjoys spending time with her family and her two Yorkies.
Dr. Brandon D. Frodge DMD, MS
Dr. Brandon D. Frodge received his Doctor of Dental Medicine Degree from the University of Kentucky College of Dentistry in 2003, whereas he was honorably awarded for outstanding achievements in Periodontics.
His periodontal specialty training was accomplished at the University of Kentucky College of Dentistry Graduate Program in Periodontics in 2006, at which point he received his Certificate of Specialty in Periodontics as well as his Masters of Dental Science Degree. Dr. Frodge has been serving the Atlanta, Georgia area since 2007.
Utilizing the latest technology and minimally invasive treatment modalities, Dr. Frodge provides excellent periodontal care to his patients. Dr. Frodge offers periodontal treatment including dental implants, sinus lifts, accelerated osteogenic orthodontics, and bone and gum grafting procedures.
